GO NDE Inc.
Magnetic Particle Testing - is a non-destructive test method for the detection of surface discontinuities in ferrous materials. Sub surface discontinuities can be detected but to a limited degree.
Penetrant Testing - Dye Penetrant Inspection also known as Liquid Penetrant Inspection or Penetrant Test (PT) is a fast, economical and widely used non destructive test method to detect surface-breaking discontinuities in all non-porous materials (metals, plastics, or ceramics).
Ultrasonic Testing - Ultrasonic testing is another method of non destructive testing where a transducer applies ultrasonic pulse waves in the frequency range of 0.5 to 10MHz in the material and the time of flight of the ultrasonic waves is measured from the initiation time to the return of the reflection to the transducer. Any change in acoustic impedance produces an ultrasonic reflection or echo. This property of the ultrasound is used to identify the material wall thickness and any internal discontinuities in material.
Eddy Current Testing - Eddy current testing is one of several non-destructive testing methods that uses the electromagnetism principle for flaw detection in conductive materials. A specially designed coil energized with an alternating-current is placed in proximity to the test surface, generating a changing magnetic field that interacts with the test-part and produces eddy currents in the vicinity. Variations in the changing phases and magnitude of these eddy currents are then monitored through the use of a receiver-coil or by measuring changes to the alternate current flowing in the primary excitation-coil.
Radiographic Testing - This method is widely used to examine for subsurface discontinuities (such as voids, porosity, inclusions and cracks, etc.) in castings and weldments in a wide range of materials, by using the technique of radiographic exposure and interpretation of radiographic film.
Heat Treatment - Post weld heat treatment (PWHT) is a term that refers to any heat treatment that is applied to a material after welding. The process is often used to improve the properties of the weldment.
Infrared Thermography - Infrared Thermography inspection testing is essentially a non-invasive, non-destructive inspection process that uses temperature sensing scanners. Infrared testing is used to locate and document thermal anomalies (hot spots).
Positive Material Identification - Positive Material Identification (PMI) is the identification and chemical analysis of various metal alloys through nondestructive methods.
Holiday Detection - Holiday testing is a non-destructive test method applied on protective coatings to detect unacceptable discontinuities such as pinholes and voids.
Vacuum Box Testing - Vacuum box testing is a non-destructive examination used when trying to locate through thickness leaks on seam welds and adjacent sheeting material.
Cathodic Protection - Cathodic protection is one of the most effective methods for preventing corrosion on a metal surface. Cathodic protection is commonly used to protect numerous structures against corrosion, such as ships, offshore floaters, subsea equipment, harbors, pipelines, tanks; basically all submerged or buried metal structure.
QA / QC - We provide a wide range of personnel to adequately provide Quality Assurance / Quality Control services for the following activities: Welding Procedure Qualification / Welder Qualification – CWI and CSWIP Inspectors, Fabrication and Welding – Certified Welding Inspectors (CWI), ASNT Level I and II Technicians, API 510, API 653 and API 570 personnel, Fabric Maintenance – NACE Levels I, II and III and API certified personnel, Plant Inspection (New Construction and Shutdowns) – CWI, NACE, API, ASNT Levels I, II and III, Machine & Mechanical Testing, Painting and Coating, Statutory Inspections, Plant Inspections, Visual Inspection, Welding Inspection, API Inspection.
Phased Array- Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT), also known as phased array UT, is an advanced non-destructive inspection technique that uses a set of ultrasonic testing (UT) probes made up of numerous small elements.
Each of these is pulsed individually with computer-calculated timing to create the phased aspect of the process, while the array refers to the multiple elements that make up a PAUT system.
Loose and Fixed Lifting Gear - Loose Lifting Gear is what we consider lifting accessories, such as items that are used in the lifting process but do not perform the actual lift. These accessories include chain and web slings, eyebolts, shackles, etc. The Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER), require that all lifting accessories / loose lifting gear are thoroughly examined, by a competent person, before they are used for the first time and at regular intervals thereafter (at least 6-monthly).
Crane Inspections - Crane inspections are designed to assess the safety of equipment, detect wear and tear and identify maintenance needs for safe, productive operation.
Load Testing - Maintaining a high-level of safety for the operations of cargo handling equipment is of critical importance to general industry. Load testing is generally performed on all cargo carrying units, baskets, containers, bins, skids, equipment packs and all other equipment in need of certification before transportation by lifting cranes, forklifts, etc… to determine the Safe Working Loads and Maximum Gross Weight limits.
Davit Inspection - Davit systems are used where there is a requirement to suspend a load over a roof edge, parapet or glazing system. The majority of applications which we encounter are for the suspension of personnel in the form of either an abseil or cradle systems.
CCU Inspection - All Cargo Carrying Units (CCU) shall be regularly inspected as per the international regulations. CCU is defined as any item or equipment lifted by slings with primary purpose for the transportation of goods, material or equipment.
Rope Access - Rope Access is defined by the use of ropes and specialized hardware as the primary means to gain access to and from the work place and support for workers. Rope access technicians descend, ascend, and traverse ropes for access and work while suspended by a harness or a work seat.
Drop Object Survey - Dropped object survey is an innovative module from GO NDE Inc, it is used widely in the industry focused on preventing dropped objects. It is represented by a large number of clients, individual contractors and is used to provide services to different companies in the industrial bodies.
Hydrostatic Testing/ Calibration - Hydro testing, more formally called hydrostatic testing, is a type of test that is performed on pressure vessels to check for leaks. Hydro testing involves completely filling up a pressure vessel with water and then pressurizing it. Once pressurized, leaks can be detected. Hydro testing can be used to determine if a pressure vessel has the correct mechanical properties.
OCTG Inspection - Our OCTG services are designed to identify defects on drilling materials capable of causing failure downhole. We offer management, inspection services and inventory control of both new and used pipes in accordance with API and TH Hill standards, which keeps the materials in optimum condition and save time and cost.
Training Facility - GO NDE Inc. is in the process of establishing an IRATAcertified rope access training facility with the intention of developing Guyanese capabilities on a scale never seen before in Guyana.
